Policies

1 - Wholesale Account Terms

Account Applications

Hinterland Mobility supplies products on a wholesale basis to approved clinics, healthcare providers, retailers, hospitals and other eligible businesses. We reserve the right to review and approve account applications based on the nature of the business and intended use of our products.

Wholesale Pricing & Orders

Wholesale pricing is available to approved accounts and may vary depending on product, quantity, account type and agreed pricing arrangements. Orders are subject to product availability, applicable payment terms and confirmation by Hinterland Mobility.

Account Responsibilities

Accounts are responsible for providing accurate business and delivery information and ensuring products are purchased and used for their intended purpose. Where products are being resold, the account is responsible for complying with applicable Australian laws, product instructions, safety requirements and any relevant obligations as a retailer or healthcare provider.

Returns & Change of Mind

As a wholesale supplier, we do not generally accept returns for change-of-mind purchases, incorrect product selection or products ordered in error unless otherwise agreed. This does not limit any rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Any products received damaged, faulty or different from those ordered should be reported to us as soon as reasonably possible. We may request photographs, product details, batch numbers or other information to assist with assessment and resolution.

Product Safety & Use

Our products should only be used in accordance with their intended purpose, manufacturer instructions and applicable safety requirements. Accounts are responsible for ensuring that products are appropriately selected, supplied and used within their intended application.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other applicable Australian legislation.

Where applicable, consumer guarantees may provide rights in relation to products that are faulty, unsafe, not fit for purpose or do not match their description. These rights operate independently of any manufacturer's warranty or warranty period offered by Hinterland Mobility.

2 - Terms of Use, Orders and Refunds

Hinterland Mobility, including its specialist brands BrightSteps Paediatrics and EverCare Medical Solutions, is committed to conducting business fairly, transparently and in accordance with applicable Australian laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

As a wholesale supplier, our products and services are primarily supplied to healthcare providers, clinics, retailers, hospitals and other businesses. Orders are subject to our agreed pricing, payment, delivery and account terms.

We do not generally accept returns or provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases, incorrect product selection or products no longer required, unless otherwise agreed in writing. This does not limit or exclude any rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where a product has a fault or does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, we will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances. Consumer guarantees cannot be excluded or restricted by a business policy.

Customers must use products in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, intended purpose and any applicable safety or usage requirements. We reserve the right to refuse returns or warranty claims where damage has resulted from misuse, improper installation, unauthorised modification or other circumstances outside the product's intended use, subject always to rights under the ACL.

3 - Privacy and Personal Information

Hinterland Mobility respects the privacy of individuals and is committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently.

We may collect information such as names, business details, contact information, delivery details, account information and other information reasonably required to process orders, provide customer service, manage accounts and communicate with our customers and business partners.

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for our business activities and take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Where applicable, personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Personal information may be shared with service providers where reasonably necessary to operate our business, such as payment providers, delivery services, website providers and IT systems. Where information may be disclosed overseas, our privacy policy should identify this and, where practicable, the countries involved.

Individuals may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about them and may contact us with privacy concerns or complaints. Our privacy policy will be kept up to date and made available on our website.

4 - Product Warranties and Faults

All products supplied by Hinterland Mobility, BrightSteps Paediatrics and EverCare Medical Solutions are covered by any applicable manufacturer's warranty, together with any rights and guarantees that apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

Manufacturer warranties may vary between products and manufacturers, including in relation to warranty periods, exclusions and claim procedures. Where a warranty applies, customers should contact us with their invoice or proof of purchase and details of the issue so that we can assess the claim and coordinate the appropriate remedy.

A manufacturer's warranty or warranty offered by us is in addition to, and does not replace, restrict or exclude, any rights a customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantees can continue to apply beyond the stated warranty period where the circumstances require it.

Where a product has a major failure, the customer may have rights to choose a refund or replacement, along with other applicable remedies. For non-major failures, an appropriate remedy such as repair, replacement or refund may apply depending on the circumstances.
